Hold Cleanliness Inspections
Confirming holds are fit to load, before cargo goes in
A hold that is not fit to receive cargo can lead to contamination, rejection and costly delay. Vetko's pre-loading hold inspections confirm that holds meet the cleanliness standard demanded by the cargo, from 'grain clean' to 'hospital clean', before loading is authorised.
Our surveyors assess residues, coatings, bilges, hatch covers and moisture conditions, providing the certification that charterers, shippers and masters rely on to load with confidence.
