Bunker Surveys
Independent verification of marine fuel quantity and quality
Fuel is one of the largest variable costs in shipping, and one of the most disputed. A Vetko bunker survey provides an impartial, witnessed record of the quantity and quality of fuel delivered, on board or remaining, removing ambiguity from a high-value transaction.
Our surveyors attend bunkering operations, verify barge and vessel tank figures, witness sampling and reconcile the delivered quantity against the Bunker Delivery Note, giving owners, charterers and traders confidence in what they paid for.
